About the ingredients used:
Sodium coco-sulfate is a palm free solid surfactant made from coconut. It performs as efficiently as the ubiquitous SLS, but is much milder and gentle.
Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate is a mild co-surfactant made for the personal care products, based on glycerin, a naturally occurring amino acid and coconut oil. It contributes to the foam and moisturised after fell in hair products.
Cocamidopropyl betaine although this mild surfactant has a ‘chemical’ sounding name, it is derived from coconut. It does not irritate the skin or mucous membranes. It adds some conditioning properties and helps create a good foam.
Polyquat 7 is an organic compound that helps reduce colour fading, Polyquat 7 is our conditioning emulsifier adding further benefits such as easier combing, lustre and softness.
Coco Butter (Theobroma cacao Seed butter) particularly high in moisturising qualities and helps make a hard bar!
Sodium Lactate & Sodium Gluconate is a sodium salt of natural L(+)-lactic acid, which is produced by fermentation of sugar. It has a mild saline taste and has a neutral pH. We have chosen this specialised Sodium Lactate ingredient because of the inclusion of Sodium Gluconate, which contributes skin conditioning.
Di Panthenol is a water soluble vitamin B5 and a natural moisturiser Di Panthenol helps prevent hair damage and splitting.
Citric Acid is used to adjust the PH of this formulation.
Brassicyl Isoleucinate Esylate is a natural cationic emulsification system derived solely from fermentation and plant materials (rice and sugar cane) using sustainable green chemistry.
Clays and Essential Oils for colouring and delicious scent.
